ah.seems like the day,9th jan beckons to me.this will prob be my last post in 2.5 weeks,maybe even longer,no promises.

yesterday was my last day at work..despite the short 4-5 days working arnd my colleagues,friendships were forged.and i definitely wont remember some of the people there.

so.now im left with 2 days.and half of the first day is already gone.well,i could say that ive spent it quite alright,considering the fact that i busied myself arnd the house doing household chores,smth i havnt been doing in a long time.at least do smth for the house before i go in.the rest of the 1.5 days will be spent with family i guess.

oh.and i have to thank the following people for making my past 2 years so worth living.its really been the best 2 years of my life.

1)the climbers, bel,darren,chicken,weicheng,limzy,terrence,rongjun,choonwei,kelvin,joey,graham,jingwen,junyu,shuhui

been busy these few days,gona be busier the next.

remember the company EMITasia?the one which sells TIME magazine?yea.i joined it,will be selling time in school canteen for first few days in school.so if anyone,anyone at all.doesnt have to be a student.just approach me,i can give u a superb special rate.$8 per copy,buy from me,$2.15 a copy plus free gift.2yr subscription la.

ok.i shant put all my sales training into play here.aiya.the basic pay sucks.$600/month,plus $7 per hour.but oh well.just smth to past time till i enlist i guess.working hours are 7am-10pm.sheesh right.

ok.away from that.its starting to get to me that i ll be enlisting in abt 10 days?not to mention i ll be working for abt 5-6 days,remaining days spent with family.here's another milestone in my life.im actually looking forward to it,but then again there're so many things i hafta leave behind.

the next 2 months will be especially crucial to me,and my future,due to the upcoming RSAF medical and OCS qualification.Hope all will be fine.

hello all!back from THE gold coast..

dont really like australia..and i dont think i ll be gg back there if i have the choice.I feel that people there are unfriendly and have some kinda attitude prob towards asians. So much for the common misconception that australians are friendly and accomodating with their "yea" and "mate".i dont feel welcome when im there,unlike the europeans (namely the english and irish) who're much better than the aussies.hm.anyways.enuff of that.here are the pics!

still having lotsa fun here,everything is ust so enjoyable.the weather,the people,the scenery.pity tmr's my last day.joining another day tour out of dublin again,to glendoughlough.nice scenic place,ive seen in books.

anyways.today,explored the city itself,went to see a museum..yawn*.castle in the middle of the city,err..blabla.looking for that damn hard to find xmas present of hers.=)

there was a HUGE xmas lightup at O'connel street last night.the whole atmosphere was.so xmas-sy!its like.the people were gathered swaying to the xmas songs,singing along,there was a procession,with a lion dance troupe by the chinese community here.like wth right.haha..but it was a totally whole new experience.u can tget this kinda atmosphere back home.xmas has a whole new meaning here man.u wont udstand unless ure here.seriously.

where else can u find xmas pine trees growing in the wild,where u can just find raspberries and blueberries growing by the roadside,pluck them and just eat?where acorns are scattered on the ground,together with brown maple leaves turning brown with the onset of autumn?

hello folks!heres another update=)

DAY 2.went to HOWTH,this nice seaside place with the greatest cliffs you'll ever find.super nice,super romantic.cept that i got the wrong person with me at the wrong place at the wrong time.HA.kidding=)its a nice place,seems like where westlife filmed their "my love" MTV and james blunt "you're beautiful" mtv.the scenery here is spectecular.man.its like.those default wallpapers you have with windows XP.you ll see below.prettypretty place man.im beginning to fall in love with this place,really.the beauty is really.beyond description.breathtaking would be an understatement,although it seems like the most suitable word to be used now.

supposed to have a picnic on top on top of the cliffs overlooking the Irish Sea,but we trekked and followed the path along the edges of the cliffs and we re too engrossed in looking for nicer views of cliffs and all that we forgot bout it.in the end went down and sat by the pier overlooking the sea eating nachos and drinking coke.i tell you ah.if you stay here during winter can save elecricity.i swear when i left where i was staying i was carrying a bottle of DIET coke(mr tan insisted) and a botle of water at room temperature.when i took it out aft an hour or 2 of trekking,it was like i just took it out from the fridge.DAMN cold.seriously.haha.auto refridgeration.its the same idea as frying an egg in the desert without gas i think.aha.

today's temperature was rather cold.zero degrees celcius for most parts of the day.and mr tan said today was the first day i a WEEK when it wasnt cloudy and didnt rain.the sun was out too!surprise,surprise.lucky me i guess!hm.

talked bout lotsa stuffs along the trek,learnt a considerable amount of things and got to know mr tan more in depth i guess.hm.anyways.after we got back into town,went to chinatown for lunch.you ll be surprised,the food is better,if not equivalent to what we have back home.Had the sweet and sour pork and sour and spicy soup.huge serviings for the price i guess.after that,went to watch a movie.mr tan was so insistent on watching beowulf but it wasnt my type of show,so we ended up watching american gangster.not a bad show too,but i was so tired i slept for 0.5 of an hour or so.movie tickets are 7.5 euros here,which equals 15SGD.s dont complain tht ticket prices are 8.0SGD there.feel lucky.haha..

had subway takeaway for dinner,then went back to the room and ate while watching alexander on mr tan's laptop.now here i am,freezing my ass off and typing this entry.

tomorrow we re joining a day tour to this place called newgrange,supposedly older than stonehadge.im lookingforward to more beautiful scenery outside of the city.stay tuned for more updates!

andand.the people here are so polite and friendly.not like singaporeans.ugh.i actually feel ashamed of us.and have i mentioned that the girls here are ______?=p

hi guys!
as promised,an update!

its currently erm.920pm here in dublin,which means 521am back there in singapore.its 3degreesC here,just enough to make ur breath mist up infront of you.

starting from the flight here,it was a long 14hr flight from Singapore to manchester.as usual,SQ being SQ,service was great,stewardesses were great,food was GOOD.got to manchester at arnd 630am manchester time.my connecting flight to dublin via ryanair was at 1140.so i had a hell lot of a time.walked arnd the airport,receiving curious sometimes rude stares from the british(you must understand that in the wake of the terrorist blabla they're more wary towards Asians).It's an indescribable feeling,travelling alone,just having your thoughts to urself,thinking about stuffs.i sat at their viewing gallery for a solid 3 hours while waiting for my flight.their viewing gallery is NOTHING like ours.its like.so close to the planes la!and i was just looking at the sky,the planes,just thinking bout random stuffs.A lonely stranger in a foreign land.
Ryanair was a budget air.REALLY BUDGET.they were selling things from calendars to lottery tickets to other stuffs.hadta walk from the main terminal to the plane,nope,no aerobridges.their planes were.erm.like sbs bus,chewing gum and all.ahah.ppl inside the plane were like.talking louder than the noise level of that in a noisy sbs bus during peak hour.i mean it.the entire feeling it gave me was like.rush rush,on the plane,rushrush take off.rushrush land.the plane practically sped to the runway.i SWEAR.a short 40 min later,it landed.wah.the landing.DAMN ROUGH.like SLAM on the ground.then the plane still swerve left right left right while travelling at high speeds trying to slow down.scary i tell you.and it sped to the terminal once again.wah.its fast,yea.but if you want comfort,dont take ryan air.cheap,fast and good.thats all i can say.(what can u expect for 0.01 pounds one way eh)hah.

met up with mr tan at the airport aft customs,wah.finally a friendly face.hm.maybe not.HA.his college?damn nice.its HUGE.very hogwarts-sy.aha..then had a meal at the canteen,the (hogwarts dining hall) then went out exploring parts of the city.by 4pm here it was DARK already.as in.night time.ahah..continued walking,he took me to the park,their busiest street,blabla.this place is very nice.as in.it gives you a very.slack feeling.just walking down the street,in this kinda cold weather,i dont know.it gives me a very.chill out feeling.buildings dont cross 5 storeys.haha..of course,there are stores such as NIKE,ZARA,and yes,the famous econs a'level paper supermarket chain TESCO.haha..today is thursday,their "late night shopping" day.so shops close at 9pm,unlike the usual 6/7pm.hm.things are EXPENSIVE.a burger king meal at manchester can cost u 5.99 POUNDS.which is x3,18SGD lidat.here at dublin,x2,so its arnd 12SGD for a normal meal.ahah..a cup of coffee is 3 euros.6SGD.thats how ex it is.haha..hai.popped by the tourist office to plan our itinarary for the next few days.tmr we re headed to HOWTH for a picnic.an amazing place with great scenery,according to mr tan.

theres a mix of ppl from all arnd the world here at dublin.today ive seen hongkong-ers,arabs,sikhs,blacks,spainiards,italians,french,irish,english,chinese,american and it goes on.its a reall cool place and i like it a lot.beautiful i tell you.wait till u see those fields after fields of coloured crops and cows grazing on grass and cottages with duck ponds from the air.AMAZING.

instead of crows?there're different kinda cool birds here.most common,the seagull.cus dublin;s near the sea.then there're SWANS flying too.really.damn beautiful.and mandarin ducks?wah.prettypretty.cant imagine what the country side will be like tmr and day after.

okay.enough of talking.i love this place man.hope you guys were here with me.then i wldnt hafta try so hard to describe.its really.undescribable.u have to see it for urself.anyways.pictures!=)

Long time no blog.zz.didnt do that badly for jcts I guess.

Okay la.i hafta learn to be contented.

For now,its study study study hard.
Those who know me know that I study best alone.and I just feel that im isolating myself by studying.
Don’t ask me why.its like.im damn determined to study hard.and when everyone or anyone asks me whether wana go out,do this,do that,im like.no,study la.dont feel like gg out.blablabla.i just feel like staying home.
Then suddenly,I feel like my social circle had shrunk.i felt isolated.and I cant help thinking.as I was sitting there with my tys in front of me what others were doing.like at CA helping out,at the movies.
I feel like a bloody antisocial la.sorry to anyone who has asked me out and ive declined.no,I am not antisocial,I just want to fully concentrate on my studies for now and not have any other distractions.I really wana help out badly at CA but I cant.i feel damn bad for not helping him la.
I guess its just the pressure for me to set an example?to be a role model?hm.

heheh.what better way to end off the season than a clean sweep of both first novice men and women,intermediate women first and team 3rd.congrats to claire,kelvin,terrence,elmo,weicheng!

sheesh.you know we're all proud of you=D

it's been a long journey since pumpfest last year.ive seen how some people grown,some people changed and so on.as a club,definitely closer,more united.I don't know why some people are saying this is the end of our journey.perhaps,in a way,but to a large extent,no.the wall's always there for us,we re always here for each other,and no matter what happens,TJC climbing club 06/07 will always be one.

On the whole,for many of us,our climbing journey's have been very,very meaningful,from the weak little muscles we had to bulging biceps,from the overhang to the 30m walls at batu caves,from doing white routes to finishing blue/black boulder interval routes.and from not knowing all your names to knowing all your names AND characters.now i think about it.MAN.i am gona miss you guys.but.all good things have to come to an end eh.

one thing's for sure.we ll stick together till the very end.for now,let's just wait for retirement.heh.

im already missing the walls,the tiles,the people.

sheesh.trainings are depleting like.damn fast.oh man.seemed like jus yesterday when i first joined pumpfest.its actually damn sad,come to think of it.im really gona miss the times ive spent with this bunch of erm..people.HAHA.the trainings,the xps,the talks,the scoldings,the pts,the warmups/cooldown,competitions.all good things come to an end i guess.and we ll just have to take it in our stride.its not the end..YET.so lets enjoy whatever we have for now shall we?=D

phew.long time never update.

either been too lazy or no time.

rockmasters was quite crappy ah.gosh.isolated for so long.go in when it was bright.come out when it was dark.its like.damn sian la the feeling.expectedly,i didnt do well,haha..but oh well.now just focus on pumpfest.somehow i get the impression that rockmasters is 2nd grade as compared to pumpfest?haha..i dont know.

now the only thing on my mind is operation KBOX.so far eveerything is gg smoothly.but i predict alot of last minute screwups.shall just have to plan ahead and minimize all errors.

phew.finally.a long awaited update!

nth to update about la.been rather busy,with schoolwork,trainings,and what else.everyone around me is stressing up,over syf,competitions,and blablabla.i just tell them to take it easy,be strong,hang in there.but sometimes,i think whether i do that myself.its easy to say,but hard to do i guess.take things in my stride.one at a time.

climbx is coming up,im really scared something screws up.but actually,i feel that organising these kinda big events are quite fun.esp doing the event,and the feeeling aft the event.its what makes jc diff from sec sch i guess.everything is student initiated.you really have to go forward an take initiative to do stuff,to find out what you have to do,what you left out,and plan ahead in case smth screws up how re you gona handle it.the club's co operation will be damn essential for climbx to be smooth sailing.sometimes i visualise the actual event on that day and how it will go about.ugh.think im gg crazy.

what can i say.it's been a good com.for me,for everyone,for the club.

went in aiming for all bonuses.ended up 2 top,one flash and one bonus.i guess it turned out okay for me.above expectations.as compared to people like terrence and wc,of course i suck la.but by my standards,pretty good already i guess.32 out of 117 positions.okay ba.this com has really psyched me up and made me more determined to work harder for the next com.i always thought myself to be a not so good climber.but i guess i proved myself wrong la.nvrtheless.i shall work hard!

i think this com really helped bring us even closer than ever.the support was there,you could see the knitted brows,sweaty palms and so on.everyone was cheering each other on and somewhere inside those shouts to go for it,to think,was a hidden meaning.that was the closeness of the climbers and how we wana move ahead as one.i used to think that climbing was an individual sport.but this competition proved otherwise.its a team effort after all.without the cheers,shouts of encouragement,we wouldnt where we are now.

perfect start to the season.climbers happy,teachers happy,coach happy=)

had two stayovers in two consecutive days.phew!
friday night bel stayed over.i cooked dinner,wanted him to try..spam ps2 aft that,play until 2-3 plus.then damn tired.went to sleep cus nxt day got trng.at least we werent late.leftover dinner for bfast=)

saturday night,DEWEL gathering at my place.ordered macs delivery for dinner.didnt bbq cus not many could make it for bbq.spam fries and junk food.then aft that,played a little ps2,then then dickson left.then the 5 of us guys sat down on the floor,took out a monopoly board and played.realised that if you dont play it for a while thenu suddenly play ah.quite fun leh.and i was the first to go bankrupt.watch them play damn sian.so.went to make a phone call to a friend=)talked till 3am then steamed some bao and eat.then went back to the room.i was the first to sleep while they still played ps2.woke at 9,went back to sleep.woke at 10,went back to sleep.woke at 1130 and didnt go back to sleep.now they just left.

wah.i suddenly heard lihao talking about scholarships and all ah.it really woke me up.about the competition we re up against,and how difficult it is the get a scholarship,and the limited choices of universities in singapore.gosh man.i really have to start working hard.same for all of you out there!lets work hard together,and this time next year,we'd be holiday-ing our asses off.

the week has been pretty stagnated for me.same ole' routine.tutorials,lectures,falling asleep,not enough sleep,training,blabla.
i have to admit that valentines day was a little pathetic.except for the fact that my bag was jam packed with sweets and chocolates by the end of the day,thks to my class girls=)and during gp.our table had a mini mountain of sweet/chocolate wrappers.

had training,tried out the new walls.i have to start improving la.somehow i cant seem to advance in my bouldering skills.have to find out whats in my way.DETERMINATION.

wah.long time didnt update le.heres a short one.veryvery busy,hardly have time to do my own stuff.schoolwork,tutorials,pdp,waa.its all piling up.so.this is what j2 life is about huh.everyones like so serious bout studies le.started doing tutorials and all.and im still trying very hard to catch up with lectures.

the year 1's had their first training on friday.less then we expected.60 signed up,we expected 70-80.but 40plus turned up.makes things easier for us i guess.giving talks to climbers does help i guess.you guys were great!i liked the way things moved on friday.very systematic,very professional.however,of course nothings perfect.i feel that the initiative level could be upped sommore!you dont have to be an EXCO member to give commands or what.if you feel its right and it has to be done,just do it!take the initiative man.keep it up guys!and thanks.and of course,thanks to my exco for helping out so much.i couldnt handle it alone.

finally.orientation is over.what can i say?its been a damn fun 4-5 days.althoughits been godammed tiring.but it was worth it.on o night itself the ogms made us each a personalised card and gave us each a box of strepsils.
after this whole orientation and looking back,i realised that its the satisfaction of seeing the smiles and laughter on ur ogm's faces.its seeing them having so much fun with each other and cheering along with you.esp when we cheer as a clan.you can really feel how much weve bonded withing these short span of time.on the first day everyone was like.erm.cheer?xian la.then on o night.you could feel the power.the enthusiasm in each and everyone of your ogms.the feeling was just great.and very heartwarming.its a feeling that cannot be described.

it also made me think back of this time last year.we were in their positions.now that one year has passed,it has made me feel more matured.older.and its time to move on.being an ogl has really taught me how to look at things better from a different perspective,how to set an example,that people are watching ur each and every move and how to be firm and to lead.

just got back from a 2D1N KL trip with my parents.woah.first time in a 5* hotel.gosh.it was the BEST.berjaya times square.the place we went shopping on our last xp.anyway.let me describe the room.as you step into the room,on the right is a pantry.they ACTUALLY have a place for you to make food.in front of you,is the door to the toilet.to the right,is a round table,which extends to the living room which has a great view and a big tv.further on,theres the bedroom,which has a sliding door which separates the living room from the bedroom.in the bedroom,a closet,dressing table,and the door to the toilet.what facinates me is the toilet.its HUGE.if you enter from the main door there,you enter the "toilet bowl" part of the toilet.its like this.a toilet bowl,then something which i cant inteprete next to it,then in front of the toilet bowl and this thing,about 2 metres away,is a sink.then moving on,the next part of the toilet is the "bathing" area.theres a bath tub,a shower stall,and another sink.between the "bathing" and "toilet bowl" part of the toilet theres a door.so the toilet has 3 doors in total.can visualise?heh.here are some pics.

21st dec.thursday

went sentosa with the climbers.a way to wrap up the year.played beach volleyball,soaked in the sea,got lotsa sand in my hair.no sun,but somehow everyone got sunburnt.burning backs the next day=)

as we were about to leave it rained.lucky sia.then went vivo for dinner.and some shopping for secret buddy stuffs.

yesterday.22nd dec 06.

morning was busy baking my banana cake.woke damn early,went out to buy ingredients and came back and started immediately.finished at around erm.11 plus lidat.then went to kellyn's house,stayed there till like about 5plus.then.went to pasirris mrt to meet some of the climbers.late as usual.i got there at 6.the first person arrived at around 6.20 lidat i think.anyway.when we left the mrt it was 7.got to philip's place.wah.his house ah.smell like pet shop.know why?there are like 4 cats,and one huge dog.

everyone kinda settled down and started eating.talktalk laughlaugh.wah the food was damn alot and damn nice summore.gosh.damn full aft like 3 rounds le.then watched videos of batu caves xp.wah.i miss that xp man.i miss mi casa,i miss the fun and all.anyway.then played charades.AGAIN.i swear eleanor ah.the worlds lousiest mimicker=)she always creates a "twist" to the action la.and we die=Din the end draw la.so no forfeit.

okay.im kinda unhappy with something and its been bugging me for like duno how long already.ive done a lot of thinking on this matter and this is what i feel.

its regarding the seriousness of the club,and the exco.okay.it's more of the exco.its like.a serious meeting cant even be held with serious suggestions given and a certain level of seriousness there.i sense that everyone is in the " cmon.let's get it over and done with.i wana go off" mood.its damn hard to get things done with this kinda thing in mind.im not exactly pinpointing anyone,but we havnt had a proper exco meeting whereby everyone is serious,giving proper feedback and not rushing off somewhere or being distracted by something else.it always turns out like this.everyone sits down.talk,talk,for 10-15min.then it starts falling apart.i wont go into details la.

i mean.we re the exco after all,can we just like.be more serious about stuff and get things done proper?if we're not gona do the stuff,then who is?whats more,we re in charge of running the club.if we re not efficient of getting things done,then how do you expect the club to follow by example?

you should try holding a meeting where everyone is like.looking around,talking among urselves,getting up and playing with duno what.its damn irritating and frustrating.if no one's paying attention,then why even bother to hold the meeting in the first place?just do everything urself la!why be serious only when the teacher is around?and cant you prioritise?what is more important?LUNCH OR CLUB MATTERS?

maybe the way i do things is different from what y'all used to do,but as a chairperson of the club i feel that this is all just very basic.like having a meeting.if even this cant be done properly,how are we gona do other major stuff?and why is it things can only be done seriously when the teacher is around?why?

wednesday-back at training,got a huge blister on my middle finger.felt great to be back on the walls.but somehow i dont seem to be performing as well.ohwell.anyway.aft that.erm.lunch and home.

thursday-met up with arief zheya and shuhui.went for "mini movie marathon".erm.flyboys,and happy feet.sorry shuhui!u had to watch it for the 3rd time.aft that,went to tampines.century arcade to play.changed $20 worth of tokens.played some games with arief,the girls couldnt find anything to play so aft spending $5,went over to TM arcade and changed 30 TOKENS.HAHA.do the math la.ive concluded that girls stink at driving games.then we went to play the air hockey thing?ahaha..arief and i thrashed the girls F-L-A-T.either won by twice or 3 times.tsk.still couldnt get rid of our 30 tokens.so left 5 with me.then went down,bot some food and started gossiping=pthen went home.

friday-training,dyno time!wah damn fun.but i have to learn to put pressure on my feet la.wheres the confidence!!ugh.anyway.went longjohns for lunch,then went back to sch for inhouse instructors thing.damn funny.we acted like stupid retards and even philip couldnt tahan.ended at arnd 4plus 5.then went out with mums.came home,ps2-ed.

1)thai girls are PRETTY.i can pick anyone off the street and she can beat 10 spore girls.
2)thai traffic is MAD.i almost died from CO inhaletion while stuck in a tuktuk for 2hrs.
3)thai people are very polite.VERY.
4)tuktuk drivers are kamikaze.go ride on one if you're tired of ur daily life.
5)It is SCORCHING in thailand.hotter in spore.no rain at all.imagine that.34degress everyday.
6)when bargaining,always go for half price and work your way up.
7)when bargaining,do not let the pretty shopkeeper get the better of you.DO NOT GIVE IN!
8)Chose a good hotel.not one that is so small that u have to crabwalk to get into the room.

it's been bugging me the past few days.that i'll be missing 6 trainings from this wednesday onwards.all the way till next saturday.why?cus one.my asthma bronchitis is back.duno why the hell also la.two.im gg bangkok for a week.and three.ive got CIP.ugh.6 trainings.just as i was eager to get back to the walls again,asthma bronchitis strikes.like wth la.i ll be missing out on a hell lot la.6 trainings should be enuff for me to finish baby roof=(and when i get back im gona be like weak and mus build up strength again.this stinks.summore com season coming le.

today went school for "banner painting".in the end learnt 1-2 new cheers,then painted the water droplet for our tiki.then can go le.darren,chicken,claire,shuhui zheya and i went ecp kayak.wah.long time never kayak le la.kinda seasick after awhile leh.but it was fun.the feeling came back.then the bad weather came.you could practically see the black clouds rolling in la.then darren's rope burn started oozing pus and looked like baby's vomit.ugh.went to change,had a drink,and then went home to bath.b4 gg out for dinner.kayaking is a damn good way to relieve stress la.just paddle out into the sea and lean back.forget all your problems.
finally.some light is shed on the going-ons in the club.was just doing a lot of thinking lately.about this,about some other stuff.trying to sort out my thoughts.
im gona get busier as orientation comes in.both with climbing and ogl.and theres still training.if im training fit that is=(im just very worried that i cant juggle my time well enuff.theres still my studies which im damn worried about too.and other stuffs.oh well.take it alll in my stride i guess=)

hey all!im back=)

had a rather meaningful and fruitful trip this time.in terms of climbing,got over part of my mental barrier of confidence in stepping and smearing,and some others which cant exactly be mentioned using words.
room mates rong jun,jingwen and chicken,were great!shared lotsa stuffs,heart to heart talks,helped each other achieve new breakthroughs=pword of advice for rj. "initiative."
the cooking was great la.as in.i feel that our dinner was a huge success,despite the fact that a lot was done last minute.black pepper terriyaki chicken with kuay tiao and noodles and fruit and vege salad.how nice is that la=)but still lost to chicken chop.heh.
new scandals and rumours and all popping up in this trip.
im sure everyone learnt a lot from this trip,and had a lot of fun together as a club.we were pushed mentally,physically,and everyone emerged stronger.thats smth we should all be proud of.
i would like to thank my exco,siying,kelvin,rachel,the 4 log ic's weicheng,junyu,junwei and darren,rong jun and bel for making this whole trip a success.without you people,this trip would have turned from a screwed up helluva mess to a great trip.as quoted by mr tan.
and the club members,for being co-operative at times and for making this trip so fun for each and everyone of us=))

tsk.but there has to be something bad withing everything good.nth can EVER be perfect eh.i ownt say whats gg on,cus i DONT REALLY know whats gg on.heres an analogy la.two people are fighting in a locked room.the situation is not getting any better.policemen are outside are trying ways to get into the locked room to help the people fighting inside but neither of the people in the room want to unlock the door.so the policemen just hafta stand outside and watch.its a feeling of helplessness.want to do smth but cant do anything.

what i just wana say is that.i hope that the problem will be solved by whoever is involved,and no matter what happens.if you ever need a listening ear.everyone will be here for you.if you decide to solve the problem urself,make sure that you do.please.theres like one more year together,and this friendship and bond we ve built up over the past year is not worth some stupid small issue.if you dont want us to interfere,fine.we wont.we respect that.but think about it la.Is it worth it?if its smth so small,so superficial,then why even bother?just take it as a small test of ur friendship and get over it and move on.

i dont even know what im blogging for.

accomodation has been changed back to the service apartments.mr lim called me,kinda listed out the pros and cons of both la.in the end,i decided safety over cost.duh.anyway.he told me something about mr tan wanting to cancel this whole expedition.i agree,that this time.the planning was crap.dont know what we were up to also actually.but it's our expe after all,instead of helping us out,why are you like washing ur hands off this whole thing?and mr lim said smth about changing things as and when i like it,the learning process not there.hw do you expect we know this kinda stuff when we're doing it for the first time?its like.the entire expe planning process is so sucky that even the teachers are giving up.i felt like a total failure.i hafta admit.i did screw up here i guess.pushing too hard for the backpackers place.i was thinking too much on the cost side,and probably didnt really consider other factors.but i was considering the fact that many people were having some or much difficulty paying for this trip.and that $500 for a 6day msia trip was very expensive.that aside.the two teachers arent really helping us out here.what i feel is that they're just standing there,giving advice,and using strong words to bruise our morale.perhaps they should consider my/exco feelings when they say things?actually,throughout this whole expe planning process,i havnt heard a single word of encouragement.all were of criticisms/complaints.

The comments made by the teachers yesterday,today,the day before,are all running through my head.it is not a nice or good feeling and i just cant get it out of my head.its like equations all equating to-El's not doing his job right(in a nice language).in a more direct way,-EL's lousy.im sick and tired of all these and ive seriously had enough of their NON-ENCOURAGING remarks.

argh.sorry guys.shouldve did more thinking and not be so "aggressive".but as long as this expedition still goes on,i am still gona try and do my job properly.

today.was a BAD day.started of like crap,ended like crap.

lets see.first things first.had expedition com meeting.mr tan obviously wasnt very happy about the way we were doing things,so last minute and all.his language just ticked me off.then he asked us whether we wanted to cancel the trek or not.due to financial reasons.we voted,and decided on it.wasnt very happy about it.but if cancelling it would make more ppl happy,then so be it la.i totally did not like the way he was talking to us.its like parents call him up,ask him some things,and it's our fault.thats kinda like pushing the responsibility dont you think?my mood totally soured.and poor siying and xiangwei were INTEROGGATED by him.gosh!theyve told you what ever they knew!what else do you want?and his tone is like.why didnt you do this,why didnt you do that.its like.everything is my fault.okay,maybe we were wrong in not finding out impt stuff,but we re just noobs at this,u cant expect us to know everything WHAT.wah.pissifying.

the way he said things,made me feel that our entire exco was not doing things correctly and was screwing the year end trip up.and it gave me the impression.it really did.that i was the one at fault for not managing the exco well as the EL.the feeling sucks.totally.morale hit rock bottom man.thks.might as well punch me in the face.

and as im typing this,my parents are pissed at me.just cus i made a minor mistake.wth la.the whole world is screwed up today.

then i hadta announce the cancellation of the trek to the club.gosh.it was just an announcement.dont know why.it had a very big impact on me.its like.i duno la.as we walked to do our warmup.i suddenly felt damn sad.and tears welled up.they did.bel they all came over to comfort me.then i was like"dont.dont.the more u comfort,the more i wana cry"i guess at that point in time i felt horrible.like ive let the whole world down by not planning properly.thks guys.anyway.

after training.after meeting my parents,i was thinking about this whole expedition and why it cost so much.i think it was because we were staying at some high-end place la.so i had a short short sms conversation with mr tan.

"mr tan,is it possible to change accomodation to a cheaper alternative?"

"Like what?then why didnt you source for it earlier?"

"Thought u recommended service apartment.anyway.what if i can find a cheaper alternative?"

"Yes i did.because it was a reasonable price when divided among everyone and you can save on dinner.and there are so many other cheaper service apts as well like the ones i showed you.so now you want to undo that booking when you didnt do your task well initially?"

that kinda put me down.big time.so i said

"The one you showed me,u said use as backup.anyway.is it okay to cancel the booking if im able to find a cheaper alternative?"

"Ya i did because it was already late. If you had searched properly you would have found those.You know what?You guys go settle."

wah.that last line ah.gave me the impression that he was just pushing the blame and responsibility to us.i did what he instructed,and now this.good job.whats more.this is like our first time at this?how do you expect us to know everything?okay,i do admit that im at fault somewhere,but shouldnt you like be giving us help and encouraging us instead of this?
FINE.i ll settle it.wait and see.i ll show it to you.

HEY ALL!!!im backbackbackbackbackback!!!to those who missed me,sorry.i missed you too.but i sure had a hell lot of fun!with the climbers of course.here goes.

DAY 1: left singapore at around 5plus,cleared spore customs/msia customs without much delay,was bridging all the way with bridging partners terrence,graham,junwei.i suck at bridge totally.i swear.haha..anyway.after a while i got bored and kinda settled down for the long bus ride.stopped by this food place for dinner.then proceeded on to KL.fell asleep i guess.next thing i knew,we were already in the heart of KL.reached the hotel,the rooms were somewhat disappointing.call until so nice "double deluxe".in the end ah.its just 2 bunk beds cramped in a small room.right.but me,terrence and xiangwei's room wsa the biggest of the "double deluxe"'s.so.haha..yup.went to sleep.next day gona climb ma.

DAY 2:woke early.at 6.15.went down for bfast.a lousy one indeed.little variety.ate some rice and stuffs.departed on our convoy of 8 taxis for batu caves.when we reached,gosh.mosquito party man!mosquito repellants appeared and everyone started rubbing them on.philip briefed us,thereafter weicheng and i proceeded to our designated wall."Because I got high".we had quite a lot of privacy and space as it was all the way tucked in a corner.i started climbing first.it felt.different.a totally new experience.took me some difficulty getting up.didnt dare to fall la.though its just a short wall.it looked scary from upthere.reached the last clip le.then cannot reach the hanger.but i turned arnd and was rewarded with a damn nice view la.kinda like woah.took photos.in the end i realised that i spent 1 hour plus on that wall.sorry weicheng!=)then his turn to climb.after this wall,we moved on to the longer 30m walls.started with "bowel movement".wah.can climb la.but damndamn bloody scary.its like what.3 times the ht of our school wall?look down ah.chua tio leh.everyone so small.so cannot look down.either make friends with the wall or keep gg up.haha..and ah.one wrong step will send you falling.scary.in the end.made it to the top la.but with rest.reach the top,looked around.DAMN NICE AH the view.and i thought the 16tm wall had a nice view.this was twice the ht and twice the satisfaction.sense of achievement was overwhelming.moved on to "In guns we trust".hm.supposedly the easiest of the long routes.tried on lead,made it to the top!my first onsite.haha..this wall is damn cool.theres a part ah.climb le then must hide inside the "cave" and sorta like crawl up the cave.it can get quite scary cus ure afraid that if u kena stuck then panic of what.then super high up oso.sheesh.got to the top in the end,play cheat a lil la.i pulled the tree at the end.haha..that was our last wall of the day.time really flies when we re at the walls la.i think 4plus 5 le?ya.then went back to hotel,bathed,changed,went out for dinner!!whoo!thenthen shoppping at the night market.damn cheap ah the stuffs.bought boardshorts and finally.my nike airforce.had damn hell lot of fun bargaining sia.its like.

DAY 3:set off at 8am again.last day le.started on this wall called "Bangsar Babes backdrop"another 30m wall.in the end,reach a pt i was stuck at after trying for so many times.then sun shining.so rather tired and dehydrated.so ask wc to lower me.chao tar-ed la.then came down,gossiped with the girls for awhile,crapped half hour,then went over and climbed another easier route "jalan selahar".yup.on site that too,cus its easy i guess.but i was rather panicky.duno y la.mus mantain composure la.hm.after that,cus we had some leftover rotten bananas ma.then we just took them and threw them into the bushes farfar away.like javelins.okay.then.went back,got our stuffs,boarde the bus.we were supposed to go to some stopover and bath.there was a&w there la.but i was damn turned off by the service.damn slow sia.and the staff cannot smile wan.foood was okay.root beer float!long time never drink le.but they dont have wafer=((anyway.after that boarded the bus back to singapore.the guys got high and started singing together.damn nice feeling.ahha..though our voices are..erm.yup.right darren?=pin the end everyone fell asleep.next thing we knew,msia customs le.got home at aroudn 12plus.thks to kelvin's dad.

wah.3days 2nights passed like that.time flies doesnt it.but.a really memorable trip with the climbers.TJC climbing club scores again!=)check my friendster for some pics.i lazy to upload.

finally.met up with DEWEL.had a mini bbq,talked lots,crapped lot,caught up on certain stuffs,the feeling was great.sitting inder the stars,talking and catching up.felt like the good old days.took lotsa crappy pics too.

finally.completed overhang lead.i know it's nothing amazing or astonishing cus many ppl are improving by leaps and bounds lately,but oh well,finally i can move on to the next wall.
yesterday was farewell for the seniors at my place.the atmosphere was pretty good,there were lots of food,lots of ppl,and lots of fun.all the yr1's got wet.practically cus we were all pushed inside.everyone hadta get wet.those who didnt get wet were hunted down and went in too.didnt manage to get a single yr 2 wet.they were so cooperative!tried pulling shihan(cus he's the smallest size) but amazingly,the other yr2s helped to pull him back and away from us!gosh.and it was basically lao da who was doing the "anchoring" of shihan la.and.when we asked the seniors to dress casual,they came in what we classified as formal.some came in short sleeved shirts, blabla,and ALL came in jeans.so much for water games.the farewell speeches were somewhat motivational,inspirational,and i think the best one was given by mr tan.never seen this "side" of him before.it was a rather nice feeling i guess.gifts exchange then,it was a rather warm feeling seeing the yr2s come up one by one to receive their farewwell gifts.but then,this wont be the last of them im sure.we ll still be seeing them around in school.this is more of a "stepping down" ceremony.take care ya yr 2's?we ll miss you.for sure.and do come back often.if u graduate.jus kidding=)
in the end.the yr2s,mr tan,mr lim,philip,kelly,jay,the seniors left,then left the yr1's at my place,crapped for a while,then left le.was dead tired.all in all,it was a nice event,the first successful event organised by TJC climbing club,and definitely not the last.special thanks goes to bel,who made this event a success.=))

feels damn great to be back at training.to be with the climbers,the feel the walls.a little shaky here and there,probably due to the lousy 3 weeks mc ive had,but i promise.i ll be past the conditioning state in less than 2weeks.looking forward to overhang lead,bridging lead,baby roof top.oh.and batu caves in less than 3weeks,should be staying in KL,so.means shopping!=)

another week of mc from physical activities.how long is this gona last?=(but doc says my conditions actually improving le.starting me on some long term medication.thats the only good news i guess.cant wait to get back to climbing.the thing is,its kinda unreasonable.i cant train,but my parents wont even let me watch.they're afraid i'd climb(which is so damn true la).they expect me to stay at home and REST.wth.haha..cutting me off from physical activities is as good as asking me to study 24/7.impossible.gosh.this is killing me.how many more 1 week mc's are there.shall use this opportunity to train chinups since i cant climb.

whOO!my weekend was BURNT.as in.nothing done at all.but it was worth it.in an event that definitely brought all the climbers together!the 1st national interschool sports climbing championships!
